Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring an Agronomy Regional Sales Manager to lead the regional sales strategy for a new line of sustainable agricultural ingredients. This fully remote position involves launching eco-friendly products for crop systems and driving revenue through strategic client relationships and distribution network management, with a focus on the Midwest.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to introduce and grow sustainable agricultural products across key territories.
- Manage and expand the distribution network to meet ambitious sales targets.
- Maintain customer data and pipeline through Hubspot, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships by delivering excellent service and identifying tailored solutions.
- Lead and support customer presentations in partnership with Application Leaders.
- Actively participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to generate leads and build brand awareness.
- Foster cross-functional relationships to support product innovation and address market needs.
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience in crop inputs or crop protection products, with a strong understanding of Midwest agriculture (corn, soybeans, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and build a healthy sales pipeline.
- Solid knowledge of retail agricultural markets and agro-chemical distribution networks.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) to manage client interactions and sales opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in an agriculture-related field is required.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of plant pathology and/or field scouting practices is preferred.
- Background in selling biological-based products and current residence in the Upper Midwest.
