Finite State is hiring an Agent Systems Engineer, GTM & Internal Operations

Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery sessions with revenue leaders and observe full deal cycles to identify inefficiencies before developing solutions.
  • Establish a unified GTM data foundation using Snowflake or similar, with dbt for transformation and Reverse ETL tools to sync data into CRM and outreach platforms.
  • Develop intelligent agents and AI-enhanced workflows to support critical revenue activities such as account analysis, lead routing, and deal insights.
  • Implement large language models and autonomous agents only where they deliver tangible business value, avoiding unnecessary AI adoption.
  • Integrate systems and agents using APIs, webhooks, and lightweight code in Python, SQL, or TypeScript; leverage platforms like Clay, n8n, or Workato when appropriate.
  • Create automated pipelines that detect buying intent through signals like hiring trends, funding rounds, and product usage, triggering relevant actions.
  • Ensure all deployed agents include governance controls such as access permissions, audit logs, data security protocols, and rollback capabilities.
  • Build evaluation frameworks that track business outcomes like pipeline growth, deal velocity, and time saved by sales teams.
  • Capture common logic and workflows as reusable components to accelerate future agent development.
  • Maintain clear documentation of system designs and operational procedures for knowledge transfer and team onboarding.
  • Extend successful automation patterns into other departments such as Finance, HR, and Security as opportunities arise.
