About the Role

GE HealthCare is hiring an Aerospace HQ Lead ERP Finance Specialist to take functional responsibility for ERP systems and financial analysis. You will support the Aerospace closing and reporting process and oversee routine and project-based ERP maintenance. You will be a key communicator with Aerospace Operational and Technical Controllers, FP&A Leaders, IT, internal customers, and third-party vendors.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as an ERP go-to person to help end-users resolve their ERP usage issues.
  • Run daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly ERP jobs to close ledgers in a timely manner and roll forward at year-end.
  • Ensure ERP general ledger data integrity, including SOD for user-access roles.
  • Drive quarterly and monthly ERP closing lean initiatives to support the overall Aerospace closing target.
  • Partner with Aviation Digital and Controllership to clear ERP system CVR.
  • Standardize ERP maintenance processes across all ERPs in your scope in alignment with the total Aerospace ERP landscape.
  • Support ad hoc project requests that support controllership and GE Aerospace business initiatives.
  • Gain basic DRM knowledge and participate in projects as required.
  • Get involved in GE Aerospace projects and Cloud implementation for ERP.
  • Prioritize continuously by understanding and validating customer problems and needs.
  • Be responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge and analytical thinking to execute policy and strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related finance and/or ERP experience (Oracle/SAP).
  • Ability to work non-standard business hours during quarterly close.
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Understanding of how operational processes link to the financial statements.

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance principles.
  • Prior experience in Oracle HFM/ERP systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional style, including both oral and written communication.
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues.
