AECOM is looking for an MEP Superintendent (Inspector) to oversee the delivery of K-12 and Higher Education building construction, reconstruction, renovation, MEP upgrades, and sitework projects. You will manage projects through construction and closeout, ensuring high quality and efficient delivery for one of the world’s leading infrastructure firms.
What You'll Do
- Provide oversight and direction to enable projects to be completed on time and on budget.
- Serve as a liaison for those managing coordination drawings, shop drawings and construction to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Assist in the sequencing and coordination of projects, especially between various trades.
- Utilize various platforms and software to ensure efficient client review and approval pathways.
- Review plans and documents and provide feedback to various entities, and research best practices to progress project delivery.
- Interact with consultants, engineers, planners, architects, landscape architects, contractors, and representatives of civic, community and governmental organizations.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), Architecture, Construction Management plus four years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Nice to Have
- Superintendent with 5 years’ experience overseeing new construction, reconstruction, and renovation of various building types and various associated sitework and MEP upgrades.
- Projects Experience in Commercial and Occupied Facilities.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and project tracking systems such as Procore or Primavera P6.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer preferred.
