Responsibilities
- Lead business development initiatives specifically for the local government sector
- Manage end-to-end delivery of client engagements across diverse project models
- Shape and advance practice capabilities within the local government domain
- Initiate and influence industry discussions to uncover new business opportunities
- Use sector knowledge and commercial insight to design targeted development strategies
- Supervise all stages of business development, from outreach to proposal and pricing strategy, including risk and compliance reviews
- Lead multiple concurrent delivery teams with varying scopes and timelines
- Guide client communications regarding project progress and validation of insights
- Represent engagements to executive-level stakeholders and senior management
- Coordinate input from technical specialists and peers to inform critical project decisions
- Design analytical frameworks and direct engagement teams strategically
- Ensure timely quality review of project scope, assumptions, data, and findings
- Oversee development of compelling narratives and high-quality final deliverables
- Advance practice excellence through performance reviews, financial planning, operational improvements, and intellectual property creation
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members
