Blockworks is hiring an Advisory Research Analyst specializing in the Solana ecosystem. You will publish deep-dive research and investment memos for institutional capital allocators and the public, communicating insights professionally and contributing flexibly to our growing team.

What You'll Do

• Author industry-leading research reports and short-form investment memos providing investable insights.
• Conduct deep research on topics including Solana infrastructure upgrades, dApps, and institutional adoption.
• Maintain a daily pulse on the Solana ecosystem and understand its onchain economy relative to the wider industry.
• Reach out to crypto founders and investors to search for new opportunities.
• Stay informed on all things Solana and the industry to deliver timely updates.
• Professionally communicate with the audience via X, Telegram, and other mediums about the Solana ecosystem.
• Contribute to many projects and adapt to the needs of a flexible team.
• Experiment frequently and be comfortable with being uncomfortable.

What We're Looking For

• At least two years of experience in crypto, traditional finance, consulting, or data analytics.
• Crypto native with a special passion for Solana and its ecosystem.
• Ability to explain trade-offs and competitive advantages of any blockchain or application.
• Domain expertise about Solana and its ecosystem in the context of the competitive landscape.
• Talent for discerning signals from noise and translating mental models into written insights.
• Ability to write long-form research about complex narratives clearly and accurately for a general audience.
• Ability to swiftly comprehend complex topics and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to collaboration, humble, confident, and willing to leave ego at the door.
• Passion for crypto, including willingness to research new topics and change opinions.

Nice to Have

• Experience and demonstrated success in data visualization skills using SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience in financial modeling & valuation.
• Someone who is in the onchain trenches.
