Desjardins Group is hiring a Benefits Advisor to develop and implement strategies for life and health insurance claims, occupational health, and disability management. In this role, you will advise and assist clients and partners, recommend solutions to improve standards, and help solve complex problems.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose issues, challenges and needs to determine target outcomes.
- Develop and help implement objectives, solutions and action plans.
- Recommend changes to disability management strategies and processes.
- Review files to verify medical and rehabilitation action plans.
- Recommend measures to help insureds recover and return to work.
- Carry out the coordination required to quickly obtain diagnoses and medical opinions.
- Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports.
- Handle cases requiring specialized intervention and develop strategies for them.
- Negotiate return-to-work terms with clients and practitioners.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of French is required.
- Business insight.
- Interpersonal Savvy.
