About the Role

Taboola is hiring an Advertising Sales Manager for our Enterprise Team to spearhead growth in Malaysia. As the first in-market employee, you will identify, engage, and cement advertising partnerships, expanding our network by independently sourcing and closing brand and performance marketing deals.

What You'll Do

  • Sell multiple products by finding the right stakeholders for each while maintaining a coherent overall strategy.
  • Build relationships with brand and performance-focused Agency contacts and explain the power of Taboola’s native, choice-based advertising platform.
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
  • Interact with the SEA Advertiser Account Management team to manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Convey field intelligence to Product Management teams regarding feature development.
  • Manage presentations, build relationships, and negotiate contracts within the Malaysian market.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record of sales success, selling digital media in the Malaysian market (5-7 years).
  • Strong media background with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the Malaysian media industry; capability of leveraging strong connections within the market.
  • Strategic approach to selling, experienced in planning and executing sales strategies, building robust pipelines, and prioritizing sales activity.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to structure and deliver an engaging sales pitch that addresses client needs.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends in data and use data to influence clients and formulate successful sales strategies.
  • Will and ability to drive revenue in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Team player who will engage with stakeholders across the business including Account Management, Marketing, Legal, and Product.

Nice to Have

  • Sales experience gained within an Advertising Agency and/or AdTech industry environment.
  • Experience selling to both Agencies and clients directly.
  • Understanding of the Malaysian market.
