Moog is hiring an Advanced Level 3 Manufacturing & Engineering Apprentice

About the Role

Moog is looking for an Advanced Level 3 Manufacturing & Engineering Apprentice to join its Aircraft Group. This program provides a solid foundation in engineering principles and practical skills by combining hands-on experience with academic learning. Apprentices will work full-time in our Tewkesbury facility within either the Machine Shop or Assembly & Test departments.

What You'll Do

  • Gain practical experience through on-site placements while studying for nationally recognised qualifications.
  • Develop skills in product assembly, machining, and equipment maintenance.
  • Contribute to real projects and work alongside experienced professionals.
  • In the first year, attend Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET) full-time for education.
  • In following years, work full-time at Moog and attend GET on a day-release basis to complete your NVQ qualification.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 GCSEs, including a minimum of a level 4 (C grade) in Math.
  • Level 4 (C grade) or above in four other subjects including Science and English.
  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm to undertake a practical, hands-on role in a manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Ability to show you are a practical person and have worked on projects either at school or at home that demonstrate this.

Nice to Have

  • Relevant work experience done through school or college would be beneficial.

Team & Environment

You will work as part of a dedicated apprentice team, receiving regular support and performance reviews. You'll be placed within either the Machine Shop or Assembly & Test departments at our Tewkesbury site.

Work Mode

This role is fully onsite at our Tewkesbury, UK location.
