Role Overview
An experienced engineering professional is needed to lead a team and support engineering project execution in a high-precision aerospace setting. This position plays a central role in ensuring data accuracy, refining business processes, and maintaining robust technical documentation using TEAMCENTER and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. The successful candidate will work across departments and serve as a key link between engineering teams in Clearwater, FL or Phoenix, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering IT to define and document requirements that shape business process and TEAMCENTER solutions.
- Support the design and implementation of reliable, scalable business processes within the TEAMCENTER environment.
- Identify and involve subject matter experts during project planning and execution phases.
- Lead or contribute to regular project status meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
- Conduct data audits and implement corrective actions to maintain high data integrity standards.
- Act as project lead for small to medium deployments, overseeing workflow and configuration management while recommending process enhancements.
- Maintain consistent communication with project teams and business customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Update system data using approved company tools and utilities.
- Support the evolution of project management standards to deliver timely, cost-efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
- Assist in developing test plans and validate TEAMCENTER functionality to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Keep training materials current and provide guidance to junior team members as needed.
- Offer advanced-level user support for TEAMCENTER business processes and share specialized knowledge across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with PLM or TEAMCENTER in an aerospace context.
- At least 10 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and experience resolving conflicts in complex environments.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects on time, within budget, and to stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven leadership ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Experience working with diverse, cross-functional, and global teams to define and implement operational requirements.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
