Bucknell University is looking for a part-time Admissions Reader to join the Office of Admissions. In this key role, you will review and evaluate applications for a highly selective liberal arts institution. This is a hybrid position with a flexible schedule from November through March, requiring two days of on-campus training.
What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate applications
- Assist with projects including GPA recalculation
- Verify and check transcripts and grades

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
- Ability to exercise good judgment under pressure
- Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid computer skills
- Appreciation for and understanding of a highly selective liberal arts institution
- Reasonable knowledge of the college application process
Nice to Have
- Prior application reader experience
- Ability to review and synthesize applications using critical thinking
- Skill in effectively summarizing strengths and merits

You will report to the Senior Associate Dean of Admissions.
