About the Role

Canada Life is looking for a dynamic and motivated Administrative Support Assistant who is fluent in French and English. You will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our sales team, bringing new perspectives and innovative ideas to help us deliver exceptional experiences. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to improving the well-being of Canadians.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team.
  • Understand and participate in sales and renewal process tasks with a focus on excellence.
  • Work with all required systems for submission, sale, and renewal processing.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure submissions are processed and transmitted completely and on time.
  • Perform accurate data entry across our systems.
  • Recognize and raise new opportunities to the sales team.
  • Provide support to other team positions as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
  • A post-secondary degree.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to solve problems effectively with good judgment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and interest, with marked motivation and team spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong oral communication skills.
  • Good organizational and priority management skills.
  • Strong ability to work in a multi-task environment with tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the group insurance and group annuity sector.
