Maryville University seeks an Adjunct Instructor to join our nursing program for the 2025 Fall semester. In this clinical faculty role, you will guide undergraduate nursing students, providing hands-on instruction and evaluation in patient care settings. The university actively seeks experts in their field who are passionate about teaching and fostering a welcoming environment for a diverse student population.
What You'll Do
- Provide clinical instruction to undergraduate nursing students
- Supervise students in the Nursing Resource Center
- Facilitate patient selection to aid student fulfillment of course objectives
- Facilitate clinical conferences
- Evaluate student performance in the clinical setting
- Complete onboarding requirements with clinical partners prior to the first clinical day
What We're Looking For
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Minimum of two years’ recent clinical experience
- Unencumbered Missouri RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Available to teach on campus at our location in St. Louis, Missouri
Nice to Have
- Experience in undergraduate nursing education
- Experience in simulation
- Experience using Canvas or other relevant online course delivery platform
- Experience with the electronic medical record
