Strategic Education, Inc. / Strayer University, LLC is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach online undergraduate-level Accounting courses, specifically ACC308: Accounting Information Systems Fundamentals and ACC309: Data Analytics for Accounting. You will coach, mentor, and build strong faculty-student relationships within a flexible remote learning environment.
What You'll Do
- Teach assigned courses from a pre-designed curriculum and utilize professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction.
- Enhance the curriculum through the use of technology and videos.
- Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience.
- Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to provide timely, quality feedback.
- Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated.
- Adhere to University policies and procedures.
- Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Accounting OR Master’s degree in Business with a Graduate Accounting Certificate OR Master’s degree in Business with a CPA license (active or inactive). All degrees must be conferred and from an accredited institution.
- 3 years of recent professional experience in data analysis or accounting information systems.
- CPA license (active or inactive).
- Strong computer skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage potentially stressful situations in a professional and ethical manner.
- Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning, and organizing course objectives.
- Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology and academic evaluation.

- Teaching experience at the college level.
