CVS Health is looking for an Adjudication Associate (Omnicare) - Overnight to join our team. At CVS Health, we are passionate about transforming health care in a way that is more connected, convenient, and compassionate. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting claims to ensure timely reimbursements, communicating with nursing facility staff, physician offices, and insurance companies to maintain payment deliverables.
What You'll Do
- Follow established procedures to execute routine business support tasks for the Adjudication Omnicare function.
- Develop effective relationships with all team members to ensure daily communication and resolve issues.
- Conduct review and research of rejected claims and take action for resolution.
- Handle work backlog of denied claims for timely resubmission.
- Ensure compliance with all government and regulatory requirements.
- Take direction to execute techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy-based setting.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday from 9:00pm-5:30am Eastern Standard Time.
- Willingness to work weekends (once every three weeks) and holidays (several times per year).
- A high school diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
- Pharmacy technician certification.
- Previous experience in managed care and Medicaid and/or Medicare organizations.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
- A dedicated and reliable nature.
