About the Role

Medline Industries, LP is hiring an Acute Care Sales Representative to serve as the primary interface for hospital segments including the OR, Cath Lab, ICU, and Emergency Department. In this role, you will represent a robust portfolio of hospital supplies and patient-care solutions, focusing on establishing strong, lasting client relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Call on hospitals within an assigned territory to sell a comprehensive portfolio including exam gloves, durable medical equipment, incontinence products, OR kits, plastics, skin care products, textiles, bathing systems, gauze, packs and gowns, protective apparel, surgical trays, advanced wound care, and surgeons’ gloves.
  • Make sales presentations to multiple decision-makers to drive product and program sales.
  • Establish and nurture client relationships by developing strong connections with key decision-makers.
  • Present and sell new products while maintaining and growing existing business.
  • Engage in team building among peers to ensure collaboration across the continuum of care.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to close deals.
  • Prepare bids and price quotes.
  • Conduct cold calling with the intent to develop new markets.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales OR at least 5 years of equivalent quota-based sales experience.
  • A track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
  • Ability to present multiple product lines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to drive a car, travel in that car 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site.

You will be part of the Medline Acute Care sales team.

Benefits & Compensation

  • First-year minimum guaranteed earnings of $130,000.
  • For employees working 30 or more hours per week on average: health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc.
  • For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week: 401(k) contributions, access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups, and the Employee Service Corp.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position located within an assigned territory.
