Centene Management Company LLC is hiring an Actuary - Medicare Duals to play a pivotal role in financial analysis and bid strategy. You will lead risk assessment, pricing, and serve as a key member of the Medicare Bid Team, driving innovation and ensuring accurate representation for dual-eligible members.
What You'll Do
- Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and finance principles to calculate financial outcomes.
- Develop probability tables based on statistical data analysis.
- Review insurance plans and calculate required premium rates.
- Determine equitable bases for distributing insurance benefit funds.
- Conduct analyses, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes.
- Own bid assumptions and certify a set of bids.
- Serve as a Medicare Duals leader within the company.
- Educate teams company-wide on the complexities of duals and Medicare.
- Collaborate with departments across the enterprise to ensure duals members are accurately represented.
- Contribute to ongoing innovation in the Medicare bid process through off-season analysis and strategic improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or equivalent international certification.
- Member of the American Academy of Actuaries or equivalent international membership.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of actuarial experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with dual-eligible members, particularly within the Medicare space.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAS.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to both actuarial and non-actuarial audiences.

- Compensation: $105,600.00 - $195,400.00 per year.
