WTW is looking for an Actuarial Life Data Scientist Intern in Milan. In this role, you will support actuarial, financial, and statistical modeling projects, working under the direction of senior team members to deliver high-quality, timely results.
What You'll Do
- Organize, input, and update data and code in actuarial, financial, and statistical models under direction.
- Communicate effectively with project teams to meet or exceed internal expectations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet WTW’s standards of excellence.
- Format work correctly and professionally and review it for accuracy.
- Handle and process confidential information with complete discretion.
- Track and enter project time for client billing.
- Proactively request additional work.
What We're Looking For
- Degree-level education in Actuarial Science, Mathematical Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to deliver insightful analysis to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communications skills and fluent spoken and written English.
- A commitment to quality, continuously working to achieve the highest standards.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Programming ability in at least one of the following languages: Python, MATLAB, R, VBA.
- Ability to represent high-level architecture with clear diagrams and concise documentation.
