LVT is hiring an Actuarial Consultant to lead high-impact projects that drive profitable growth and provide thought leadership in the warranty space. You will be responsible for complex actuarial initiatives, from pricing and product design to analytics and process automation.
What You'll Do
- Drive profitable growth among existing partners and acquire new clients through strategic pricing and thoughtful product design.
- Partner closely with Account Management to provide meaningful analytics and recommendations that strengthen client relationships.
- Provide thought leadership in pricing methodology and actuarial analytics both externally and internally.
- Partner with the IT team to develop strong rate infrastructures and automate processes for scalability.
- Participate in key pricing discussions with VP and C-level executives as a trusted advisor.
- Provide technical guidance to Actuarial Analysts and other members of the Risk Management team.
- Proficiently manage projects from inception to delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics/Decision Science, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in P&C insurance.
- Passage of at least five SOA/CAS actuarial exams with intent to sit for future exams.
- Significant experience with Microsoft Excel, familiarity with SQL, and ability to use both to analyze data.
- Experience with the creation and maintenance of relational databases.
- Excellent and effective communication and presentation skills.
- Initiative and drive necessary to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.
Nice to Have
- Prior insurance or auto industry experience, management/strategy consulting, or work as a business, financial, or operational analyst.
- Experience with modeling software (R, EMB, Earnix, etc.) or Tableau.

Team & Environment
You will be part of the Risk Management team, providing guidance to Actuarial Analysts, and reporting directly to senior management, including VP and C-level executives.
