SCOR is looking for an Actuary - Experience Analysis to join its US team. You will drive experience studies, analysis, and assumption development to deepen SCOR’s knowledge of mortality and lapse risks by integrating traditional and predictive analytic approaches. Your work will enhance SCOR’s assumption knowledge base and support broader organizational needs.
What You'll Do
- Apply traditional and predictive analytic views to emerging mortality, persistency, and other experience to meet strategic needs.
- Continuously enhance assumptions and methods while conducting annual deep-dive assessments.
- Work across the organization to understand drivers of experience and enhance analytical capabilities, including predictive analytics and data science.
- Support new business activities and advance SCOR’s recognition among the actuarial community through leading-edge analysis.
- Optimize processes and tools to enhance procedures and approaches.
What We're Looking For
- Fellow of the Society Of Actuaries (FSA) or a strong ASA.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Individual Life and annuity industry, Group Life, reinsurance, or a related field.
- Experience working with large datasets and database software, such as SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the Individual Life and annuity sector.
- Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to Have
- Experience in advanced analytics.
- Experience with R and/or Python.
