Anico is seeking an Actuarial Analyst II for our exam-track actuarial program at our League City, TX location. You will support our modeling team, applying fundamental principles to analyze data and prepare key actuarial reports. What You'll Do
- Learn fundamental actuarial principles and apply them in analyzing company and industry data.
- Prepare summaries of actuarial analyses for distribution to home office, field management, other departments, consultants, reinsurers, and regulators.
- Learn and begin to perform and document actuarial analyses promptly and accurately.
- Learn and begin to use spreadsheets, databases, and sources of data used in actuarial analyses.
- Perform actuarial valuation by updating valuation models, reflecting new assumptions and data.
- Prepare for and progress in the SOA examinations through on-the-job and home study.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background.
- 2 or more actuarial exams to include Exam FM and P.
