Boston Scientific is seeking an Acquisition Labeling Lead to serve as the primary point of contact for product literature and labeling related to acquisitions. You will develop effective labeling strategies, manage project schedules, and ensure all content adheres to procedures and quality standards to support the company's global acquisition efforts.
What You'll Do
- Independently coordinate product labeling deliverables for complex projects, overseeing desktop publishing and artwork generation for labels, IFUs, cartons, and sterile barriers.
- Work with executive leaders and functional managers to set project strategy, priorities, and scope.
- Partner with project managers to develop pre- and post-integration plans and strategies.
- Develop deliverable schedules, establish milestones, and communicate project status, challenges, and successes regularly to management.
- Gain insight on requirements and issues, communicating project information clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams through labeling content development by gathering inputs, managing drafts, implementing changes, and tracking revisions.
- Support critical project milestones, address labeling program issues, and guide, mentor, and train earlier-career labeling practitioners.
- Ensure accuracy and full compliance with all regulations and quality systems, guaranteeing labeling content is complete and meets customer needs.
- Coordinate the implementation and release of labeling deliverables through Boston Scientific’s Document Control System.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation while promoting content consistency across labeling.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional labeling experience.
- Experience working in the medical device industry or a similar, highly-regulated environment.
- Experience working with medical electrical equipment or similar capital equipment.
- Ability to travel (domestic and international) at frequencies ranging from 5% to 30%, based on project needs.
Nice to Have
- Direct technical writing experience.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
