R1 RCM seeks an Accounts Receivable & Denials DRG Supervisor to lead the appropriate management of assigned accounts, team workloads, and key processes. In this role, you will supervise staff development, perform initial reviews, and approve cases for external appeal and billing.
What You'll Do
- Assist in all training required for reimbursement analysts to resolve and appeal a defined number of accounts.
- Review, draft, and approve complex and contractual appeals and letters to insurance companies.
- Manage the daily workloads of the Operations Support Department staff.
- Enlist the assistance of Provider Representatives to resolve complex claim and appeal issues.
- Audit and review client status reports.
- Provide daily, weekly, or monthly feedback as requested by leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Specialized DRG experience is required.
- A strong leadership mindset.
- Understanding of how to utilize a multitude of hospital patient accounting systems.
- Skilled in using MS Excel and other business reporting tools.
- Ability to collaborate well with others by working closely within the domestic and global organization.
- Ability to manage a large inventory and team.
