Cognizant is looking for an Accounts Payable specialist to join as an SPE-Accounts Payable professional. In this role, you will apply Generative AI and Prompt Engineering to optimize and automate accounts payable processes, enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy while contributing to the organization's technological advancement and financial health.
What You'll Do

- Oversee data quality initiatives by applying AI methodologies that enhance the validation and reconciliation of supplier invoices.
- Monitor and continuously improve AI models to ensure reliable performance and adaptability to evolving financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide detailed reports and dashboards using AI-generated insights to support decision-makers in accounts payable management.
- Train and support accounts payable personnel on AI tools and prompt engineering applications to enhance productivity across the hybrid work environment.
- Lead initiatives to automate error detection and resolution workflows, minimizing payment discrepancies and supplier disputes.
- Drive innovation by researching and adopting emerging AI technologies relevant to accounts payable and financial automation.

What We're Looking For
- A minimum of three years of practical experience applying generative AI and prompt engineering in finance, preferably in accounts payable domains.
- Strong technical skills in machine learning frameworks and natural language processing relevant to prompt design and AI model training.
- Deep understanding of accounts payable processes, including invoice lifecycle, payment regulations, and supplier relationship management.
- Domain knowledge in compliance requirements and auditing standards impacting accounts payable functions.
