Huntress is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team during a period of growth. You will act as the primary gatekeeper for employee spend and travel data, ensuring accurate transaction coding and providing critical support for accounts payable processes.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and audit daily corporate card activity against our Travel & Expense Policy for compliance.
- Review and code all flight and hotel transactions, assigning them to correct GL accounts before export.
- Learn the Zip procurement workflow to act as primary backup for the Accounts Payable Specialist.
- Monitor procurement expenses to ensure all purchases have accompanying documentation.
- Assist in collecting W-9 forms and verifying vendor information during onboarding.
- Manage data exports from Brex, Navan, and Zip into NetSuite, resolving sync errors.
- Ensure all financial data is finalized, coded, and exported by monthly deadlines.
- Act as the first point of contact for the team on Slack regarding travel or expense questions.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of experience; we are open to recent graduates or those with an administrative background.
- Understanding of data flow and how selections in one system impact records in another.
- High comfort level with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- High attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage recurring tasks and meet deadlines consistently in a remote environment.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities with demanding timeframes.

Team & Environment
You'll have the opportunity to work directly with other members of the accounting and finance teams as well as cross-departmental stakeholders. This role reports to the Director of Accounting Operations.
