What You'll Do
Process and verify accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring all financial data is correctly recorded. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to maintain strong supplier relationships.
Regularly reconcile the general ledger against the accounts payable listing and manage the aging report to track outstanding obligations. Support audit procedures by providing complete, organized documentation for trade payable ledgers.
Work directly with vendors and internal departments to respond to invoice questions and resolve disputes efficiently. Contribute to month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring deadlines are met consistently.
Produce detailed reports on AP activity and trends, and actively look for ways to improve existing workflows. Assist in implementing process enhancements and support special projects and audits as required.
Requirements
You have hands-on experience in accounts payable or financial analysis roles, with a track record of managing transactional accuracy and financial reporting. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities independently
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Understanding of internal controls and compliance standards in financial operations
- Capable of working effectively in an onsite environment with consistent collaboration
