Role Overview
This position plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial operations by managing accounts payable processes from end to end. You will ensure timely processing of payments, accuracy in reporting, and adherence to internal controls, all while supporting a scalable finance function in a fast-evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review accounts payable activities with precision and within established timelines
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in payment records
- Perform regular reconciliations between general ledger balances and accounts payable listings, maintaining up-to-date aging reports
- Support audit readiness by providing accurate documentation and detailed records for trade payables
- Respond to invoice inquiries and work with vendors and internal departments to resolve disputes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and strengthen internal control frameworks
- Assist in month-end closing procedures related to payable accounts
- Produce reports that track key metrics and reveal trends in accounts payable activity
- Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and contribute to process optimization initiatives
- Participate in special projects and provide support during internal or external audits
Qualifications
- Professional experience in accounts payable or financial analysis roles
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve issues effectively
- High level of accuracy and organizational skill in managing routine and complex tasks
- Proficient in using accounting software and advanced Excel functions
- Clear and professional communication abilities
- Capable of working independently in a remote setup while meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
- Familiarity with internal controls and compliance requirements in financial operations
Work Environment
This role operates onsite, requiring presence five days per week at the designated location.
