Weta Workshop is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. This role is focused on processing payments and managing accounts payable, and will evolve with our implementation of a new Odoo ERP system. As our processes develop, the role may expand to include wider finance administrative support within our diverse and creative organization.
What You'll Do
- Process all domestic and international supplier invoices
- Create domestic and international one-off and periodic payments
- Coordinate the review and approval of payment batches
- Set up and maintain direct debits and recurring payments
- Reconcile purchase order accounts and company credit cards, resolving any issues
- Work with the finance team to ensure batches are reviewed and approved
- Work with our crew on queries and manage the Accounts Payable inbox
- Provide potential future administrative support for accounts receivable, payroll, contractor payments, reconciliations, and reporting
What We're Looking For
- Some experience with Accounts Payable
- A proactive individual who takes initiative
- A great communicator, able to confidently talk to crew and vendors to build good working relationships
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to organize work efficiently
- A strong understanding of finance administration processes
- Comfortable learning new programmes and tools
- Experience using financial systems
Nice to Have
- Experience covering a wide range of administrative functions in a finance team
