1840 & Company is hiring a Part-time Accounting Supervisor based in Mexico City, Mexico. You will work remotely to oversee and manage accounting functions for our LATAM business operations, ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Supervise daily accounting activities and financial reporting for LATAM operations
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Review and analyze financial statements and general ledger accounts
- Develop and implement internal controls and process improvements
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in an accounting supervisory or senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience with accounting for LATAM operations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish
Work Mode
This is a remote, part-time position. You must be based in Mexico City, Mexico to oversee our LATAM operations effectively.
