MyFlorida's Department of Management Services is hiring an Accounting Services Analyst A to provide essential analytical support for the maintenance and enhancement of departmental systems related to accounting and finances. You will report directly to the Information Tech Business Consultant Mgr-SES and play a key role in maintaining critical computer programs and reports that support the state's financial operations.
What You'll Do
- Process validation of data received from multiple in-house users, work with file submitters on data problem resolution, generate final submission data files, ensure files are included in the Systems' FTP application, and ensure proper processing of FLAIR transaction data.
- Responsible for timely set-up and any necessary user resets of security and related profiles for FLAIR DACA access, FLAIR RACF (NASSAM), FLAIR RDS, FLAIR Information Warehouse, and MRE.
- Perform review and necessary record update processing related to the monthly FLAIR Access Control / RACF / Employee Termination audit.
- Generate semi-monthly Prompt Payment Compliance Reports.
- Process the reallocation of People First expenditures/service assessments.
- Perform daily OCA data conversion for the Division of Disability Determination.
- Perform daily operation of Systems' FTP application.
- Create, modify, and maintain documentation for technical and operational requirements and desktop procedures related to AFAM’s FLAIR transaction validation and submission processing.
- Develop and write standard and ad hoc programs, including FLAIR Mainframe programs in DACN and the Information Warehouse, to perform data extractions or reporting functions.
- Develop, write, test, debug, document, and maintain computer programs to automate department financial functions.
- Complete special projects and perform other related duties as required.
What We're Looking For
