Luxor Technology Corporation is hiring an Accounting Generalist to join our finance team. This remote position reports to the Accounting Manager and involves preparing key financial reports, performing general ledger accounting, and assisting with the monthly close. The ideal candidate will be based in the Americas time zone and will help improve our financial processes.
What You'll Do
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external use.
- Perform general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Assist with monthly close and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Assist with establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Assist in the development of financial processes to support new business requirements.
- Improve systems and procedures and suggest corrective actions.
- Work on a wide range of operational accounting tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and an active CPA certification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting at a Big 4 firm.
- Audit and GAAP reporting experience.
- Experience with financial reporting requirements in the U.S.
- Experience with cryptocurrency wallets and transacting via Blockchains.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas and jurisdictions.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
