Hornetsecurity is hiring an Accounting & Finance Manager

Hornetsecurity is looking for an Accounting & Finance Manager to expand our group-wide cash and treasury management while driving projects and process improvements in financial accounting. You will act as the key contact for auditors and tax consultants and support our group companies with accounting and tax structuring.

What You'll Do

• Build out and take primary responsibility for our group-wide Cash & Treasury Management.
• Design and maintain our group Transfer Pricing policy.
• Support group companies with questions regarding accounting and tax structuring.
• Assist local tax consultants with the preparation of tax returns.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for group companies according to HGB and local GAAP.
• Help shape a group accounting manual.
• Support the implementation of a new ERP system.
• Actively contribute to group-wide process optimizations.
• Serve as the main contact for auditors and tax consultants.

What We're Looking For

• Completed education and further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (Accountant).
• A broad understanding of the interplay between the balance sheet and P&L.
• Strong organizational talent, able to set priorities, drive processes forward, and juggle multiple tasks even with high workload.
• Quick comprehension and structured work approach to maintain a clear overview.
• Ambition to help shape the necessary structures and processes.
• Proactive thinker interested in the bigger picture and understanding overarching relationships.
• Communicative, enjoy new challenges and working in an international environment.
• Proactive and independent working style, preferring to tackle tasks promptly.

Nice to Have

• Initial professional experience in an international environment.
• Familiarity with business transactions in international corporations or willingness to learn.
• High affinity for financial systems, ideally with experience in NetSuite and LucaNet.
