Current Need This position will execute the cash accounting related functions for a number of Joint Ventures. The essential skill requirements of this role are being an engaged team member, embracing change, and enjoying an environment where process improvements are not just welcome, but expected. You'll support multiple McKesson business units, which means strong communication skills are critical to working effectively with internal and external customers. The role demands someone who can seek out, propose, and drive process improvements while managing projects across various responsibilities. To succeed, you'll need: - A solid working knowledge of the accounting close process - Strong cash control skills - Comfort managing large data volumes and account reconciliations - Advanced technical abilities with Excel - A desire to develop teammates through leadership - The ability to influence stakeholders across the organization - A genuine embrace of change at all levels Position - Perform daily analysis on cash transfers to physicians and joint ventures - Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for Joint Venture business - Review and approve journal entries and monthly reconciliations - Conduct "ad-hoc" analysis as directed - Lead change and champion process improvements, including automation - Work closely with all McKesson accounting functions - Support multiple internal and external customers - Identify opportunities for McKesson best practices and implement process improvement solutions Minimum Requirements 5-7+ years full cycle accounting experience Critical Skills - Be a change agent, striving for excellence and efficiency - Process Management – Handle large, complex processes with a continuous improvement mindset - Proven ability to multi-task while meeting various deadlines - Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc.) - Maintain an engaged, positive attitude in a dynamic environment - Experience with Blackline Additional Knowledge & Skills - Experience in PeopleSoft strongly preferred - SAP experience helpful - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs, if-then statements) Education 4-year degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience. McKesson experience or related experience strongly preferred. Certifications/Licensure CPA Preferred Salary: $74,000.00 - $98,700.00 - $123,400.00 USD Annual with 5% MIP (Target 90K with 5% MIP) We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
