Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting standards
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial insights
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audit procedures
- Manage accounts payable and receivable with precision and timeliness
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Implement and improve accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in tax preparation and coordinate with external tax advisors
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast
- Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and controls
- Support cross-functional teams with financial data and reporting
- Maintain fixed asset records and oversee depreciation schedules
- Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all transactions
- Work closely with department heads to track project-related expenses
- Assist in the development of financial dashboards and KPIs
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations
- Contribute to process automation and system improvements
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives
