About the Role

The accountant will oversee financial operations, including reporting, compliance, and analysis, while collaborating with leadership to support organizational growth and accuracy in financial planning.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting standards
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial insights
  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audit procedures
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable with precision and timeliness
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Implement and improve accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist in tax preparation and coordinate with external tax advisors
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and controls
  • Support cross-functional teams with financial data and reporting
  • Maintain fixed asset records and oversee depreciation schedules
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all transactions
  • Work closely with department heads to track project-related expenses
  • Assist in the development of financial dashboards and KPIs
  • Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations
  • Contribute to process automation and system improvements
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives
