Ethos is hiring an Accountant

TensorOps is hiring an Accountant to join our Operations team. You will own the record-to-report process, demonstrating the full accounting cycle in QuickBooks. Your core mission is to deliver high-quality, timely financial information while acting as a trusted advisor and driving process automation.

What You'll Do

• Manage the end-to-end record-to-report process using QuickBooks.
• Collect, process, and deliver accurate, strategic financial information for client reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, support month-end closing, and assist with tax audits.
• Deliver high-quality service while meeting client Service Level Agreements.
• Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for client issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Operations and Product teams to analyze data and automate repetitive accounting tasks.
• Understand and implement improvement projects focused on simplification and enhanced controls.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Mastery of QuickBooks and knowledge of integrated applications.
• Strong domain knowledge and foundation in US GAAP, bookkeeping, and financial procedures.
• High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience working with cross-functional global teams and multitasking across several client projects.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience automating accounting processes.
• QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Advanced certification.
• Certification in IFRS.
• Experience working with US-based clients.
