Directive Consulting is hiring an Account Strategist, Paid Media to join our remote US team. You will be responsible for managing enterprise client accounts, creating custom strategies, and executing paid media campaigns to drive SQLs and customers. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a core part of the Paid Media team.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts.
- Serve as direct support to client contacts.
- Communicate weekly with vendors or operational partners to ensure task alignment and quality.
- Drive referrals via client relationships and your professional network.
- Build quarterly strategies for clients.
- Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels.
- Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions.
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM.
- Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns.
- Be responsible for personal productivity and utilization.
- Work directly with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved.
- Execute and optimize PPC advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, focusing on keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience targeting.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years experience working at a performance or digital marketing agency.
- Experience working specifically with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting.
- Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
- Strong understanding of PPC principles (keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, campaign optimization).
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to drive results and measure via OCT.
- Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
- Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed.

Team & Environment

- Annual base salary of $70,000-$95,000 USD.
