Directive is looking for an Account Strategist, LinkedIn Advertising to join our team. In this remote role within Canada, you will work directly with mid-market and enterprise B2B clients to create custom strategies and execute Paid Media deliverables. You'll be a crucial part of the LinkedIn media team, reporting to the Associate Director, running point on communication and optimization to maximize client ROI.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts.
- Serve as direct support to client contacts.
- Communicate weekly with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment.
- Build quarterly strategies for clients.
- Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns.
- Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions.
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM.
- Be responsible for personal productivity and utilization.
- Work with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved.
- Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns.
- Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships.
- Execute and optimize LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years experience at a performance or digital marketing agency.
- Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads.
- Understanding of different LinkedIn Ad Units such as conversation ads and document ads.
- Proficiency in advertising platforms like LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, and 6Sense.
- Strong understanding of Paid principles: keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and optimization.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, GA4, or Excel for data-driven decisions.
- Ability to drive results and measure via OCT.
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier and job title.
- Proven, measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
- Ability to translate strategy and tell stories with data.
- Equal parts competitive and curious; a true problem solver.
