About the Role
The Account Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate client account data, processing billing changes, and addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update client account information with precision
- Process billing adjustments and corrections efficiently
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding account status and charges
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account-related issues
- Monitor account activity for inconsistencies or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with financial and data handling policies
- Maintain detailed records of account interactions and changes
- Support onboarding processes for new client accounts
- Assist in month-end and year-end account reconciliations
- Communicate proactively with clients to clarify billing details
- Track and report on account resolution metrics
- Identify recurring account issues and recommend improvements
- Follow established procedures for account modifications
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments
- Verify invoice accuracy before client submission
- Assist with audit preparation related to account records
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
- Provide account status updates upon request
- Coordinate with sales teams on account transitions
- Support system updates by validating account data integrity
