About the Role

As a strategic commercial collaborator, the Account Manager is responsible for safeguarding, maintaining, and expanding a premium customer collection of 100+ clients, navigating them through their data evolution journey and ensuring consistent value generation from Adverity. This is a full-time remote position located in Dallas. Some of the things you'll work on: Proactively oversee a high-volume client network (100+ accounts), ensuring continuous interaction, value optimization, and renewal preparedness across all customers. Prioritize renewal health by early risk identification, reinforcing product significance, and implementing structured renewal strategies to maximize retention. Transform customer challenges into optimization opportunities, product integration, and long-term account stability—driving expansion where suitable but with a primary emphasis on renewal success. Construct and deliver data-informed value assessments that clearly communicate ROI, adoption impact, and business outcomes aligned with customer objectives. Consistently surpass Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and Gross Retention targets through robust renewal execution and churn prevention. Position Adverity as a critical, enduring partner in the customer's data strategy by transitioning conversations from features to continuous strategic value. Develop comprehensive, multi-layered relationships across your portfolio—particularly at executive and economic decision-maker levels—to protect and enhance account health. We're excited if you have: A proven history of delivering exceptional renewal outcomes and retention performance within an enterprise SaaS or data platform environment. Experience managing a large, high-velocity portfolio (100+ customers simultaneously) while maintaining high-quality engagement and renewal execution. Demonstrated capability to identify and mitigate renewal risks, reduce churn, and drive adoption-led growth. Strong commercial insight with the ability to articulate ROI and business impact during Executive Business Reviews and renewal negotiations. Comprehensive understanding of procurement, renewal cycles, and buying processes within complex organizations. Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders—particularly economic buyers—during renewal and value discussions. Experience navigating multi-threaded accounts to secure renewal alignment across all decision-makers. Expertise in CRM and customer success/sales tools (e.g., Gainsight) including renewal forecasting, account planning, and lifecycle tracking. Ability to leverage AI tools and modern productivity technology to streamline portfolio management and maintain proactive customer coverage.
