About the Role

Konecranes is looking for a remote Account Manager to join our team in the USA. Your primary responsibility will be developing and growing customer relationships and business from an assigned base. You will focus on driving orders and sales growth through our circle of compliance strategy while delivering the best possible customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure effective sales growth consistent with strategic objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Engage in sales activities to sell service and meet established sales quotas.
  • Prepare accurate price estimates and offers for key accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain offers in Seibel CRM and maintain CRM compliance.
  • Accurately move sales cases through the sales funnel using proper stages.
  • Maintain weekly contact with assigned accounts, develop relationships, and document activity.
  • Schedule and conduct annual business review presentations, or more often as needed.
  • Assist in collection efforts for problem accounts.
  • Co-operate with operations to quickly resolve internal and external operational problems.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings to ensure activity and quotation levels meet objectives.
  • Participate in required meetings and processes such as budget, forecasts, and strategy.
  • Review and negotiate all non-standard Terms & Conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in and assist with preparing required monthly reports.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and good PC skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; prior equivalent experience and training will be considered.
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated leadership and well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Two (2) years of basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Must have and maintain a good driving record.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to different locations.
  • Ability to relocate to other regions of the country may be required for advancement.

  • Prior experience with cranes.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the USA.
