MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is hiring an Account Manager I - III to manage the full lifecycle of client relationships within our Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services. You will be responsible for client retention and satisfaction by leading operational service delivery, managing new business transitions, and collaborating extensively across internal teams.
What You'll Do
- Develop, build, and maintain solid client business relationships from onboarding through renewal.
- Ensure appropriate service levels by understanding and championing client requirements across the organization.
- Proactively maintain and improve service performance and work to resolve issues swiftly.
- Actively lead members of the core and extended client teams in meeting client needs.
- Adhere to strict procedural and quality standards for documentation, testing, and claims analysis.
- Lead the implementation process for onboarding new business, including documentation, communication, and site visits.
- Utilize project management skills to track milestones, identify risks, and provide regular status updates.
- Effectively educate clients on MedImpact systems and processes.
- Manage client and consultant relationships in compliance with service agreements to eliminate risk.
- Partner with multiple business units to ensure the accuracy of claims adjudication setups.
- Understand, document, and communicate client technical and service specifications.
- Analyze claims results to identify discrepancies, inaccuracies, anomalies, and unexpected consequences.
- Take accountability for resolving adjudication configuration issues identified during implementation.
- Complete special projects as assigned, such as leading workgroups or overseeing projects.
- Provide regular feedback to management on client requirement status and business development opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- For Level I: Minimum of two (2) years of account management or related client/customer service experience in a healthcare setting (health insurer, managed care, TPA, PBM, or pharmacy). Minimum of one (1) year proven Project Management or Coordination experience. Two (2) years of internal MedImpact experience may substitute.
- For Level II: Minimum of four (4) years of account management or related client services experience. Minimum of four (4) years of Project Management or Coordination experience.
- For Level III: Minimum of six (6) years of account management or related client services experience. Minimum of six (6) years of Project Management or Coordination experience.
- Familiarity with healthcare-related state and government regulations (Medicaid, CMS, etc.).
- Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Visio.
- Experience as a user of multiple business software applications.
- Successful completion of MedImpact Internal Certifications required within one (1) year of employment.
- Exceptionally consultative face-to-face client interaction skills.
- Outstanding numeric, verbal, written, logic, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate proposed design solutions in a consultative manner.
- Good business acumen and understanding of PBM service business processes.
- Good decision-making, problem-solving, and problem analysis skills under pressure.
- Good planning, organizing, prioritizing, negotiating, team building, and leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to positively interact with clients at all levels of their organization.
- Demonstrated accountability for achieving service commitments and delivering results under tight timelines.
Nice to Have
- For Level II and III: Experience strongly preferred in a healthcare, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), managed healthcare service organization, insurance company, or other health-related entity.
- Pharmacy Technician license or national certification desired.

- Account Manager II: $60,988 - $80,808 - $100,628
- Account Manager III: $71,614 - $95,784 – $119,954
