About the Role

EMD Serono is hiring an Account Manager to join our mission in the rare disease field. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets through strategic regional planning, customer relationship management, and academic promotion.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a challenging and actionable regional business plan based on a deep understanding of the territory and the rare disease landscape, including target hospital and department coverage strategies.
  • Effectively plan and execute daily visit schedules to ensure quality and efficiency, securing proper product use and sustained growth in key hospitals and departments for long-term business development.
  • Uphold the company's professional academic image by mastering product knowledge, disease understanding, and relevant guidelines, ensuring accurate and compliant scientific communication during visits and events.
  • Maintain excellent communication and collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other internal departments to collectively advance the company's overall strategy in rare diseases.
  • Submit various work reports and data summaries—including call reports, activity summaries, and sales data—accurately and on time.
  • Actively participate in company-organized training, meetings, and projects to continuously enhance professional knowledge and business capabilities.
  • Strictly adhere to company compliance and behavioral standards, safeguarding the company's brand image and academic reputation in all external communications.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical promotion experience.
  • Proficient product knowledge and understanding of relevant medical science.
  • Demonstrated market analysis and business planning capabilities, with strong execution skills.

Nice to Have

  • Educational background in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation is preferred.
  • Experience promoting in rare diseases, orthopedics, or oncology with rare targets is preferred.
