EPM is hiring an Account Manager to oversee loan files through their complete lifecycle. In this role, you will ensure all documentation requirements are fulfilled and keep all stakeholders informed while managing a diverse portfolio of loan products and a substantial pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Organize approvals and ensure all conditions are marked and met once a file is assigned.
- Conduct a Welcome Call with the client within 24 hours of approval to set expectations, clarify conditions, and confirm loan timelines.
- Ensure signed disclosures are received, verify loan conditions, and order necessary reports like AVMs, IRS, and flood zone determinations.
- Track document uploads, review client submissions, and follow up on outstanding conditions to ensure loan progress.
- Verify all conditions are met, confirm final loan terms with the client, and ensure closing is scheduled.
- Monitor for expired Estimated Closing Dates, follow up on lock expirations, ensure timely loan submissions, process Change of Circumstances, and update the lock as needed.
- Review active loans, prioritize upcoming closings, and ensure all required documents are submitted for final approval.
- Handle additional responsibilities related to evolving business needs.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of wholesale account management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of a wide variety of loan products and programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly efficient time management and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume pipeline while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with the Encompass loan origination system.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience as an underwriter.
