About the Role

DISCO is hiring an Account Executive to expand our footprint across Europe and the UK. You will implement sales strategies and build meaningful relationships within the music industry, with a focus on the mid-market.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in Europe and the UK, emphasizing mid-market prospects.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan, maintaining a robust pipeline using our technology stack.
  • Spearhead outbound lead generation with a tailored outreach strategy.
  • Collaborate with the global sales force to exceed financial objectives and brainstorm market penetration strategies.
  • Conduct compelling discovery calls and tailored product demos.
  • Establish rapport with key decision-makers, uncover their challenges, and guide them through the sales process.
  • Maintain relentless follow-up with innovative communication strategies.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to become a trusted advisor to prospects and customers.
  • Work with Marketing and Customer Success teams to optimize cross-departmental efforts.
  • Stay current on company offerings, industry developments, and competitive landscape.

What We're Looking For

  • 18+ months of music tech experience.
  • 5+ years of music industry experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A nimble, adaptive mindset that thrives in a startup environment.
  • A proactive sales approach, initiating calls, conducting demos, and building strong relationships in-person and virtually.
  • Confidence engaging decision-makers and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and tech-savvy nature, especially with CRM systems.
  • Specific knowledge and contacts within the music industry (labels, publishers, radio, PR, marketing, management).
  • Deep knowledge of the music industry.

Nice to Have

  • SaaS sales experience specific to storage, sharing, or workflow management.
  • DISCO platform knowledge.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Pipedrive, and Asana.
