About the Role

TForce Freight Inc is looking for an Account Executive, Local (SMB) to strategically convert new business and grow profitable revenue within a defined territory. Your primary objective is to penetrate markets, fulfill quotas, and retain customers by analyzing sales reports and transportation trends.

What You'll Do

  • Compile weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information.
  • Analyze account recaps and revenue trends to develop service recommendations.
  • Utilize shipping technology and systems to review account activity and sign up customers to databases.
  • Manage accounts by advising on billing processes, resolving inquiries, and entertaining customers.
  • Train customers on the use and advantages of web-based shipping and tracking functions.
  • Build strong customer relations and position TFI shipping services to expand customers' business needs.
  • Track sales opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential customers through strategic relationships.
  • Promote cross-functional sales by sharing leads, informing peers on services, and collaborating on proposals.

What We're Looking For

  • U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the position or willing to self-relocate.
  • Individual must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
  • Understand TFI leverage over competitor products, services, and technology.
  • Ability to project future customer needs, think critically, and use analytical skills.
  • Possesses ability to identify issues and provide solutions as a problem solver.
  • Builds strategic relationships with a focus on customer pipeline and key decision-making.
  • Persuasive negotiator with tactical techniques to overcome objections.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of industry trends and financial impact.
  • Experience giving sales presentations.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree (not required but preferred).

Work Mode

This is a local, city-based position requiring in-territory presence.
