WeTravel is hiring an Account Executive - (Italian market)

About the Role

WeTravel is looking for an Account Executive to unlock the Italian market. This role is part Account Executive, part Business Developer; you will build from scratch, connect the dots, and help shape the market. You'll own the full sales cycle from outreach to closing deals and handing off to onboarding, working within a global, diverse, and ambitious team.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle — from initial outreach and discovery calls to product demos, closing deals, and smoothly handing off to onboarding.
  • Prospect and connect with tour operators in Spain.
  • Act as a business developer — source your own leads, gather market insights, and help break into the France & Benelux region.
  • Run engaging demos that clearly show the value of WeTravel.
  • Manage your pipeline in HubSpot and keep deals moving forward.
  • Close new business and ensure a smooth handoff to our onboarding team.
  • Share market feedback with our product and marketing teams to shape what comes next.
  • Collaborate with a friendly, high-performing team.

What We're Looking For

  • Native or C2 level Italian speaker and fully proficient in English.
  • Have the full legal right to work in the EU (citizenship or residency).
  • Feel confident on the phone and comfortable with cold outreach.
  • Have strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Have some experience with inside sales via email and phone.
  • Have worked in B2B sales, ideally with small businesses.
  • Are familiar with CRM tools like HubSpot.

Nice to Have

  • Come from a hospitality or travel background and understand how tour operators think.

You'll be part of a new team being built, part of the Sales department combining autonomy with strong collaboration, reporting to Maria Claudia (Macla).
