About the Role

The Nielsen Company is hiring an Account Executive I for our Mid Market Sales team in Indonesia. This is a key role within our Audience Measurement division, focused on business development with media agency partners, broadcasters, publishers, platforms, and advertisers. You will act as a hunter to drive sales, build the revenue pipeline, and cultivate long-term strategic partnerships with C-Suite executives, working within a passionate team dedicated to powering a better media future.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and follow up on Marketing Qualified Leads to generate pipeline.
  • Identify, qualify, prospect, and develop new client relationships to create sales opportunities.
  • Cross-sell and upsell to existing customers by identifying opportunities for additional products or services.
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to negotiating and closing contracts.
  • Prepare and deliver contract proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales.
  • Answer client questions relative to product updates and information effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Consistently meet revenue targets and activity KPIs.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments.
  • Develop a solid understanding of Nielsen products and services to effectively position them to customers.
  • Leverage CRM and other tech tools to track, execute, and manage sales activities.
  • Collaborate with other vertical Sales, Marketing, Product, Revenue Operations, and Finance to deliver products, services, and drive client satisfaction.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with C-Suite Executives at client organizations to grasp and address their critical business challenges.
  • Work daily with Insights, Measurement, Data Partnerships, and Sales team contacts at clients to develop and close sales opportunities.
  • Engage with Industry bodies in Indonesia to promote Media Measurement best practice.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluent skills in Indonesian Bahasa (written and spoken).
  • 2-3 years of experience in solution sales and high sales skills.
  • Experience in high-performing Mid-market Sales teams.
  • Track record of performance with discipline in sales prospecting activities.
  • Strong business, media, technology, and data acumen.
  • High communication skills.
  • Hands on with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset to work well with others.
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical skills for informed, data-driven business decisions.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and listening), problem solving skills, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Well organized with the ability to plan and prioritize.
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
  • Use of established CRM tools - Salesforce experience is a must.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Nielsen as a business and its products, services, and offerings.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of advertising, marketing, and the media industry.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of marketing research.
  • Experience working with media, marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong network in marketing, digital, and media industries.
  • Google Suite Applications (Preferable) – GMail, Google Doc, Google Slides, etc.
  • Other CRM tools a plus: Linkedin Sales Navigator and SalesLoft.

You will join a team of 10 colleagues across Mid Market Sales, Asia, as part of the Mid-Market Sales Team within Audience Measurement Commercial Teams. You will work in a matrixed structure with key partners.
