GHGSat is hiring an Account Executive - Government to spearhead initiatives selling our satellite-derived methane monitoring solutions to US Government customers. You will focus on building relationships with senior Government decision makers, managing strategic accounts, and developing and winning proposals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage key client accounts while supporting new opportunities within the US and Canada.
- Be the lead relationship manager for your accounts and countries and a key point of contact.
- Develop and execute penetration strategies for product use cases around data, analytics, and emissions monitoring, while building and developing business relationships across key accounts and countries.
- Contribute to the technical win and product fit at customer accounts, helping to build customer trust in GHGSat and its solutions, which results in customer success in the post-sale.
- Support and develop proposals for Government prospects, which includes leading proposals for opportunities such as NASA R&D ITTs.
- Build internal relationships within GHGSat to ensure continuous improvement within the delivery.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or another relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SaaS, data, and/or business analytics business development or sales.
- A strong network at Federal, NASA, and/or State-level government organizations.
- A strong governmental network at the national level, notably within US States.
- Experience in tracking prospective ITTs with NASA, Federal, and State Agencies in the US as well as sales lifecycle and procurement.
- Experience in managing and winning proposals for US government grants and R&D ITTs.
- Understanding of NASA Earth Observation for environmental monitoring and how to leverage its value.
- Excellent writing skills and comfort coordinating technical teams to generate winning proposals.
- A hands-on, passionate, and creative problem solver who knows how to get things done and can lead others to success, focusing on creating value.
- A strong understanding of metrics and KPIs.
- A highly visible, excellent communicator and presenter able to gain audience confidence.
- The ability to build a deep understanding of an account’s emissions solutions’ needs and guide them to a technical solution.
- The ability to learn, embrace change, and be a team player.
