About the Role

AlphaSense is hiring an Account Executive, Financial Services to join its expanding Financial Services Sales team. We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious sales professional to drive the adoption of our product within Financial Markets. You will play a pivotal role in our growth by building relationships with sophisticated financial institutions.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end sales process for your territory, focusing on hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and sell-side research departments.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development representatives to research, prospect, and cultivate relationships using a consultative approach.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to client needs and highlighting AlphaSense’s value.
  • Manage complete product trials with Product Specialists to ensure smooth client adoption and conversion.
  • Drive toward ambitious sales targets by accurately forecasting and maintaining a robust pipeline.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, prospects, and internal teams to gather feedback for product and sales strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of SaaS sales experience.
  • Proven success in value-based, consultative sales roles, specifically focused on the Financial Services sector.
  • Experience engaging with end-user personas like Analysts, Associates, and Portfolio Managers.
  • A consistent track record of exceeding high quotas in a hunter role.
  • Resilience and drive to thrive in a startup environment while managing competing priorities.
  • A curious and coachable mindset for uncovering business challenges at all organizational levels.
  • Expertise in modern sales processes and tech stacks, capable of conducting technical demos and managing multiple trials.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey the value of AI-driven insights.
  • A solid understanding of the Financial Services landscape, including client challenges on both the buy-side and sell-side.

Team & Environment

You will join the Financial Services Sales team dedicated to building relationships and driving sales with hedge funds, asset management firms, investment banks, and private equity firms.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid role based Remote - Ireland.
