MeridianLink is hiring an Account Executive to drive customer growth by up-selling and cross-selling our core products to Credit Unions, Banks, and Finance Companies. You'll be responsible for developing strategic account plans, managing the full sales cycle, and meeting key metrics aligned with company revenue objectives.
What You'll Do
- Identify, action, and provide advice on business input metrics to drive growth and improve end customer experience.
- Drive results in a cross-functional environment with excellent time-management skills, working independently using centralized resources.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow accounts, retain clients, and build strong, trusting relationships.
- Understand client needs and identify new business opportunities within your portfolio.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and propose new tools and processes.
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
- Utilize a customer-focused selling process to identify needs, pains, and goals of the existing customer base.
- Meet and exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly targets for activity, prospecting, and booked revenues.
- Diligently utilize Salesforce, Gong, Clari, Outreach, and other tools in the Sales tech stack to track activities and manage forecast.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in sales or account management with Credit Unions, Banks, and Finance Companies is preferred.
- Successful business development background with expertise in lead generation.
- High workplace efficiency and the ability to consistently fill pipeline and drive revenue opportunities.
- Perceptive of interpersonal dynamics with the ability to connect with anyone; skilled presenter and communicator.
- Master negotiator and closer.
- Self-motivated and driven by success, with a strong work ethic and integrity.
