Acrisure is looking for an Account Associate (SHA) to learn the principles of insurance and apply them to everyday client situations. This individual contributor role, working under direct supervision, is a key step toward more autonomous account management positions. You will support coverage strategy and plans as a primary point of contact for assigned clients.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily service tasks assigned by Producers or Account Executives following agency procedures.
- Issue Proofs of Insurance (Certificate, Evidence, Auto ID).
- Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company requests on a timely basis.
- Request policy changes on behalf of clients.
- Review new, renewal, and endorsement policies to ensure accuracy.
- Process audits, cancellations, and other client-related documents.
- Maintain accurate client data in the EPIC agency management system.
- Document all activities in the EPIC agency management system.
- Keep current with industry trends through seminars and classes for skill improvement and license compliance.
- Complete other assigned functions and tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Active Property & Casualty Producer License or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to discern priority and take initiative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Mathematical skills: ability to calculate figures like discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, and percentages.
- Reasoning skills: ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
